We are doing a survey to see if there is any interest in this game opportunity.  The approximate ticket price will be $6 per person.  the game that we are looking at attending will take place on Sunday, March 18th at 1:00pm at the Portland Expo.  If you are interested, please click on the link below to fill out our online survey!

2011 Real Estate and Property taxes are due April 1st, 2012.  Because April 1st is on a Sunday, you may pay your taxes by 5:00pm on April 2nd with no penalty.

Effective 2012 residents who pay their real estate taxes by the April 1^st, 2012 deadline will receive a one-time use free transfer station pass.  Residents will only receive this pass if their taxes are paid in full and are current by the tax due date.  Persons will only receive the pass if they meet the following criteria: 1). a Hermon Resident 2). have a Homestead Exemption 3). must have a Hermon mailing address.  Just as a reminder, one pass will only be given to residents who have paid their real estate taxes on a residential unit; a free transfer station pass will not be given to businesses.

Six years ago the Town of Hermon applied for and received a FEMA grant that provided free smoke detectors for Hermon residents.  Residents were then able to stop by the Fire Department and pick up a free smoke detector.  Unfortunately those smoke detectors have now all been issued and will no longer be available through the Hermon Fire Department.

The Hermon High School library is open to the public Monday - Friday from 2:15pm. - 6:00pm. The collection of over 12,000 books includes audiobooks,large print, and children's books. Please stop by and check out a book. If we don't have what you are looking for, we can interlibrary loan it for you.
