The Hermon School Department is a vibrant educational community dedicated to excellence from the first day of Pre-K through high school graduation. Our three-school campus serves over 1,200 students with a dynamic, robust instructional program led by a team of 85+ teaching professionals.

Curriculum

Hermon High School offers the academic rigor of a university on a high school campus. From Honors and AP classes, to dual enrollment opportunities, to robust Visual and Performing Arts and Leadership classes, we empower students to lead, create, and succeed.

Programs

Hermon students benefit from partnerships with the UTC program in Bangor, a robust JROTC program, and dual enrollment opportunities through the University of Maine and Husson. The School Department proudly welcomes student teachers from area universities and takes pride in connecting students with the rich academic and cultural offerings in the Penobscot region.
